Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, has been named the “World’s Best Golf City Destination 2024” by the World Golf Awards, while Vietnam itself was crowned “Asia’s Best Golf Destination 2024.” The prestigious awards were presented at the 11th annual World Golf Awards ceremony on the evening of November 23 in Madeira, Portugal.
For the eighth year running, Vietnam has been honored as “Asia’s Best Golf Destination” at the World Golf Awards, beating out other leading contenders such as Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Meanwhile, Hanoi has been declared the “World’s Best Golf City Destination” for the second consecutive year. The city received this recognition at the 10th World Golf Awards ceremony held in the United Arab Emirates in 2023.
Additionally, the Legend Danang Golf Resort was awarded “Vietnam’s Best Golf Course 2024,” and Banyan Tree Lang Co took the title “Vietnam’s Best Golf Hotel 2024.” Meanwhile, “Vietnam’s Best Inbound Golf Tour Operator 2024” went to LGT Golf.
These awards are the result of a year-long search for the world’s favorite golf tourism brands, with voting conducted by golf professionals, media, and the public. The winner in each category is the one with the most votes.
The title of “World’s Best Golf City Destination 2024” is a source of pride for Hanoi and a testament to the efforts of the capital’s tourism industry.
