For the first time, an international fashion and art event will be held in the historic Cuu Co Village on the outskirts of Hanoi, aiming to showcase this traditional craft village on the global stage, while also stimulating the local economy and fostering greater cultural exchange.
The Cuu Village Show, scheduled for December 21 and 22 in Cuu Village, Phu Xuyen District, will spotlight the unique cultural heritage of the over 500-year-old settlement, nestled along the tranquil Nhue River. At a recent press briefing, the Phu Xuyen District Administration highlighted the event’s importance in promoting the village’s rich cultural legacy.

A fashion show will unveil the latest collections that seamlessly blend traditional elements with modern design. Designers will creatively reinterpret traditional attire, showcasing both Vietnamese and Italian fashion through a contemporary lens, offering a fresh and dynamic perspective on cultural heritage.
The “Trade Development” workshop will bring together economists to discuss market strategies and provide businesses with an opportunity to exchange ideas and explore collaboration opportunities. This will help strengthen competitiveness and promote international trade between Vietnam, Italy, and Europe.
In the “Cooking School” segment, renowned chefs will demonstrate the culinary arts of both Vietnam and Italy through signature dishes. Attendees will have the chance to learn unique cooking techniques and the cultural stories behind each dish.
The “Meet the Music” session will showcase talented artists from both nations, blending traditional and modern music in a dynamic performance. Meanwhile, the “Meet the Tourism” corner will allow travel agencies from both countries to present stunning images and information about must-see destinations in Vietnam and Italy, sparking new travel exploration opportunities.
